If you could rewrite any book’s ending, which one would you choose?

There are books I judge the ending of. They’re not mine, though. At worst I’ll write fanfic; that’ll be mine.

Then, there are my books.

I will absolutely rewrite the end of virtually any book I write…. lots. Not as much as the beginning! Beginnings are like the weird stepchild of writing. There’s an adjustment period before the relationship either clicks or doesn’t. But the end? The end you know, you feel in your bones by the time you’re there, and it’s less about adjusting any facts and more about trying to make it sing.
